How does Congress affect our daily lives at school?

A long time ago Congress passed a law, the National School Lunch Act, which requires milk to be served at lunch in school.

We will explore photographs from the Library of Congress to investigate the role that Congress plays in our daily lives by making sure that every child has a healthy lunch. Students will engage in careful observation to identify objects and note details (See), generate and test hypotheses based on evidence they have collected (Think), and reflect on their learning by applying it to related questions (Wonder).
